The multi-layer shuttle car automated warehouse solution is a high-efficiency storage and goods-to-person picking solution for multi-sized bins, cartons, and small packages. It uses multi-layer shuttle cars and lifts as core equipment, supplemented by layer-changing lifts, power platforms, picking stations, and charging devices. The system achieves whole-bin storage and retrieval, as well as picking and retrieval of individual items within bins, based on order characteristics, realizing a goods-to-person picking mode for fast and efficient order processing. Multi-layer shuttle cars perform single or double-depth operations through layer changing and cross-aisle operations. The equipment acts as backups for each other, and the number of shuttle cars can be flexibly increased or decreased according to the workload to adjust the capacity of the automated warehouse system and improve system flexibility. In the same space layout, the multi-layer shuttle car system's storage and retrieval processing capacity is 5-10 times higher than that of traditional warehouses.
